An elegant cowl that can be used as a hood in the coldest days. By using a provisional cast on, while binding off a beautiful ruffle is created, decorative and functional. It's worked with two skeins of Mysa on one side and with 1 skein of Mysa and 2 of Stil on th eother side (by playing with shades so to create a gradient effect)

- how to create a ruffle bind off
- how to create different shades with the colors of Stil
- how to weave in the Stil yarn tails while working the project

Yarn: 2 skeins of Mysa of the same color, 100% Alpaca, 50 grams, 150 meters
2 skeins of Stil (1 light and 1 dark, in the same tones, here Acquamarina and Plumbeo), 70% Mohair, 30% Silk, 25 grams, 210 meters
Notions: tapestry needle to weave in ends and bind off while creating the ruffle
A crochet hook for the chains of the provisional cast on.
Needles: circular knitting needles with 4,5 mm points
Gauge: 18 sts x 22 rows in 10 x 10 cm
